I'm starting college in a month so I'm looking for a car to get back in forth. I need something that is good on gas so I can drive back and forth from school 3 days a week, but, I also live in PA so the winters get pretty harsh and I'd feel alot safer in an SUV with 4 wheel drive rather then a little car and front wheel drive. I work for the history channel and call churches for a living.. I speak to the pastor typically and briefly tell him about "The Story of Jesus" a dvd set that outlines the life of Christ. They dont have to purchase anything and they can watch if free for 30 days on a preview period. I am treated very rudely by those who work in the church and have had pastors hang up on me more than once. I spoke to a Priest today who told me "you should take into consideration we already have our own curicculum and way of doing things' in a very condescending tone. I always have a friendly and personable approach and genuinely believe i am doing good work for the Lord. I was very offended and fired back "You should take into consideration this is my job and I do this for a living". Its almost as if he wanted me to feel guilty for calling him. The call didnt last very long after that point but it sincerely has been bothering me. I want to explore faith and see how it can positively impact my life and maybe others, but at the momen i just dont see how a just God allows such shallow, petty, and cold hearted folks get into a position of faith leadership. Its not acceptable for me as a believer in God to think that its ok to treat others poorly so long as you lead a congregation and treat people well at church. Taking 800 mg Ibuprofin or other pain reliever before marathon race?

OK fellow runners, I want to run the race of my life - and my calfs really start to bother me when I run hard for 26.2 - I'm looking for an advantage to alleviate the muscle pain that may slow me down in a race I will be running in March. I am in great shape and am shooting for a sub 3 hr time - but at about the half way mark I my calfs really start to feel it. From a cardio vascular point of view - I'm fine and not winded. My pre race and in race nutrition and hydration are excellent, so they are not an factor. I am very interested to know if others have tried this and to hear of there results? Downside? Upside? My calf muscles are like rocks, I do plenty of distance at race pace in training, as well as strength training, but the calf issue is something I have not been able to overcome as far as the soreness after running really hard for a long distance. I can run through the pain, but it slows me down. It is not excrutiating pain by any means, just a dull ache that gets progressively more intense as the race progresses. Also, if you used a pain reliever other than Ibuprofin, I would be interested to know the results as well. Thanks for your help and keep on running!

Why does my bunny hate me? PLEASE HELP?

I recently got a bunny from my friend, because she went to college. The bunny is about 7 months old. Whenever I let it out of the cage, it won't even come out of the cage until I leave the room. When she finally does come out of the cage all she does is hop away from me. I try to subtly play with her, and I am nothing but nice. The only time she MIGHT come over to me is if I have a treat in hand, and even then it is hard to grab her attention. How quick will i lose m/muscle?

ive been training properly for about 3 years and last 2 or 3 months ive really stepped it up and gained quite a bit of muscle growth. Im now in afghan and while im training hard (twice a day) when i can there can be periods of up to about 2 weeks where i cant train properly/at all due to me being here. As most people who train properly im paranoid bout losing muscle if i dont train for few days even tho i know its impossible to lose it that quick let alone a few weeks. when im unable to train here im normally on rations too so my diet is poor and consists of about 3000 calories of mainly carbs. Anyone know of anything i can do to retain muscle or ideally keep gaining whilst no where near weights or anything that can really be used as weights. Im aware of body resistance eg. push ups pull ups etc but ideally would like to keep gaining. Cheers

My ps3 is running a little slow lately, not on gameplay?

little big planet, when you start the game you get taught how to move the sackboys torso using the six axis via a little video which pops up while you are playing, that one ran perfectly however i got distracted and missed some of it, so i played it from the start menu and it comes up on a bigger screen that way, but the annimation in it was jerky/laggy audio was fine just the video, i have restarted the console and tried again but same problem, also i noticed it in a few of the fmv's on heavy rain, but gameplay i have had no problems with, other then oblivion goty, it runs slow if for example there are 6 characters casting spells on screen at same time, and when loading a new area but i can understand tht one lol i have 60gb fatty on a standard def tv. all the display settings are correct as far as i know. also can clearing my cache help? how do i do it? will it mess up my save games/trophys, also is there anyway to clean any old unused space on the hdd, like in a pc if it starts running slow you can disk cleanup, defrag etc.. but only if it aint gna mess up my save games etc.., sorry for the amount of questions i have asked but one lead to another lol, if anyone has a copy of little big planet and there ps3 on a standard def tv please attempt to play the video on controlling the sackboy wiv sixaxis from the start menu and tell me if you have same problems. ill give 10 points for best answer

This situation bugs me to pieces what should I do?

Been married for almost a year. We have been bickering and argueing for quite some time now. The majority of our arguments and problems basically have to do w/trust issues on my part. Well I ended things over a month ago with this guy named Matt. Everything was fine at first. We met each other in the beginning of last October. We were friends for the first 3-4 months but then I started to like him so we decided to go out. So we went out on dates (nothing official) for about 6 months. We didn't like anybody else and neither did he. He even asked me to be his girlfriend about 3-4 months after we went out on dates but I was afraid to commit to anything because he didn't have that much experience (maturity). I'm indecisive with EVERYTHING. I'm just afraid that I'll make the wrong decision. I think it might be because my mom literally blames just about everything on me. With a combination of the fact that I'm down on myself a lot so if something fell through I would probably blame myself for it. But during the summer I always wanted to be with him. I wanted to talk to him all the time and whenever I wasn't with him I was always thinking about him. I would always buy him things for him when I saw something that he might have liked. But after a while we just suddenly started to get into arguements. He would lie to me about the stupidest thigns and expect me to believe it. He would get overly sensitive whenever I talked to him. But I admit that I made mistakes too because I would always be talking to him about my doubts and he got tired of me giving my lectures. I'm a big worrier naturally. And I don't know how to stop worrying about things. after we got into arguements I was always the first one to text or call him to talk things out. He never reached out to me first to work things out. we would work things out temporarily but eventually it got to the point where things were so downhill that it was hard to fix it. I kept trying and trying but he gave it zero attempt. I kept doing this for months. But then I finally wised up and I had enough last month and I told him I didn't want to talk to him anymore and that I was serious that time. Of course he was thinking in his mind that it would blow over and I would eventually come running back to him in a week or two. So he texted me as if nothing happened 3 days later. And I told him that I wasn't talking to him. He played the innocent game of course. But I put him in his place several times. He's been trying to contact me through facebook and text several times since then and I would answer by saying something along the lines of "You know what you did. You sat back and didn't care to fix things with me while I tried my best. So now I'm not talking to you". It's just I still think about him CONSTANTLY. I think about kissing him and being with him just as close as we were in the prime of our relationship. And I just can't get him off my mind. I even feel bad sometimes when I see him sad in school (he doens't have many friends because he's a standoff-ish serious kind of guy). Did I do the right thing? Did I love him and that's why it's so hard to move on ? Or did I just care about him a lot?

OK, if you get a Blu-ray player, which is the only way to go, you need to update your receiver as well. Since Blu-ray came out, literally everything went out of date. A receiver that does hdmi switching, video upscaling, & Dolby TrueHD surround is needed. As well as a flat screen TV that has 1080p resolution. Then everything has to hooked up via hdmi cable. But, see if your current surround sound system has a digital optical input. If so, you can hook up the audio portion to the system & then hook up the video portion directly to the TV. Then you'll get the audio & video quality your looking for. But at the same time, if your video source is grossly out of date, then you need to start there. Shes a cairns cross (like Toto on acid). I noticed lately shes misbehaving just to get my attention when we're out walking. Now I was thinking it would talk about hand to hand combat, how to survive, in the field medicine etc, I picked it up. Today I started looking through it, and while it does have that stuff, it also has instructions on how to arm land mines, how to evade detection, and the specs of military weapons like the Stingers, the LAWs, and other heavy duty weapons. It also talks about how to disable a tank. It was published in 2004, so I ume it is pretty up to date. Does it concern anyone that a book this detailed is just sitting on the shelf of the public library? Or am I just going crazy?

For a cold, I will always swear by hot and sour soup. All the value of chicken soup, plus enough spiciness to clear out sinuses. I got my recipe from epicurious.com. It's the only one on the site for it so it'll be easy to find. I just omit the dried mushrooms, and use ramen noodles (not the seasoning packet) in place of the rice(?) noodles it calls for. Gastric Byp Christmas Treat?

I am the new person in the office, where there a total of five of us. I have been here since July - which is long enough to participate in the girt giving of Christmas (they all celebrate it, so there is no alternative holiday issues for them). How can I learn to be more sociable with people?

All my life I've been raised to stay indoors and not answer phone calls or give my number away ever since I was little. We had over the top worried parents and we still do but they've loosen up a bit now and allow us to go out. I'm 22 but the majority of my life I've spent alone not doing much. So even at this age in time I feel like I get stumped on MANY things when people talk to me. I'm so gullible as well. I've had a dog for two months. He was tied to the gate next door to me.?

The home was empty, no one lived there. We took the dog in (Chihuaua)...we have cats and my middle son wanted a dog so there you have it. Some man came to my home yesterday claiming to be the dogs owner and called him Coby. Rico did not respond to him in any manner that suggested he knew him. He was friendly with him and I pointed that out. He said the dog was closer with his wife and daughter. The man claimed the dog was with some girl two wks ago...blatant lie. I stood my ground and told him to get an attorney. he left saying he was coming back in a couple of days with the sheriff to get his dog. I find out later on that he told my son (prior to coming to my house) that he was an off duty police officer and he had better give him his dog. He also showed my son a picture (that he never showed me) that may have been taken from a cell phone. I have some ideas in my next move but I welcome your suggestions. Thank you.
