Is there any greater scam in the western world than the idea of 'original sin'?

well, i'll be honest, i believed it for many years. then one day, i thought to myself, "what if the sin is calling ourselves sinners, when god says we are fearfully and wonderfully made?" i was actually afraid of that thought, but it seemed right. thank the universe for wayne dyer, louise hay, and, dare i say, oprah! they helped me see that i'm wonderful just the way i am. and getting more wonderful every day.
