Hawaiian monarch overthrown by who?

The Monarchy of Hawaii had control of the islands and was a sovereign state recognized by several countries. The current ruler wanted a new constitution that gave more power to the ruler than the Euro- American businessmen. These businessmen plotted against the Queen and deposed her and the US annexed Hawaii.
