Military action against Libyan to begin tonight? ?

The UN is currently voting on a no fly zone over Libya, with five countries including Russia and China expected to abstain rather than veto the vote. French diplomats said if and when they are given the nod they will act “within hours" and it is expected that British and French aircraft will begin to bomb Libya and Gadaffi's stockpiles of weapons, with help from some Arab nations. It now is more or less certain military intervention is imminent and will begin later tonight. Have the UN acted just in time??
