I CONFESSED AND NOW IT'S SOOOOOOOOO AWKWARD - (10 PTS)!!!?

I'm tlking to this guy on fb (on an anon account) that I asked to prom & he couldn't go b/c he's going to be in MI that weekend. We've been talking for a while, but he didn't know it was me at first. I asked him q's about myself to find out what he thinks of me. He's always been super friendly to me & he's a nice guy. He eventually figured it out & started using my name in the convo, saying if I came clean he would think it's a little weird but he wouldn't hate me. I told him & we're not really talking. It's really awkward. Can I fix this? After I told him, his response was, "Ooo ok" Then I said, "do u hate me?" No answer. I said "should i get a shield haha" He said, "haha no" I put more after that but he didn't answer. So either he went to bed or he hates me. Help! I want to fix this! Thx!
