MMA fans: loyoda the dragon machida is worthy of getting a title shot?

well as much as i hate to watch lyoto fight, he does win, and he does have knockout ability as well as solid submissions. however, in the ufc i've only seen one submission, and no knockouts. i'd like to see him beat a few more solid opponents before fighting for the title
